These are the ground rules for using Flow. We've tried to keep them short and plain. If something isn't clear, just ask.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Flow. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that a user is under 13, we'll delete their account.
Everything you create in Flow — your brain dumps, tasks, planning items, and focus sessions — belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership over your content. We use it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Use Flow for its intended purpose — organizing your thoughts and managing your work. A few things we'll terminate accounts for:
We'd rather not terminate accounts, so we'll make a reasonable effort to warn you first unless the situation calls for immediate action.
Flow is an early-stage product. We work hard to keep it running and improving, but we can't promise uninterrupted uptime, zero data loss, or that any particular feature will always be available. Use Flow as a helpful tool, not as the only place critical information lives.
We may update these terms over time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by email or with a notice in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Flow after that means you accept the new terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.

Flow is built and operated by the Flow team. These terms may be updated occasionally — we'll note the date at the top when they change.
